Written in 2007 and initially featured on the Gamewave Podcast Compilation, Marathon was a feeble attempt to channel some of my love for Italian Prog group Goblin, and their extensive horror soundtrack repertoire. Somewhere along that line I delineated.
I really love this soundtrack. Minecraft was often my safe place through the struggles of my life during middle school. I will forever cherish the many memories I made through the game, and each of those memories is attached to a song from this album.
Living Mice will always put the picture in my head of a square sun setting over the horizon of erratic, blocky terrain.
